GWM Highlights Ora 5 Features Ahead of Official Market Launch in Nepal

GWM (Great Wall Motors) has begun teasing the features of its Ora 5 electric SUV ahead of its official market launch in Nepal. The model, which has already arrived in the Nepalese market, will join the Ora 3 in the Chinese manufacturer’s EV lineup in the country.

The Ora 5 is expected to deliver a driving range of up to 520 kilometers on a single charge. It combines aerodynamic styling with modern design elements, including distinctive lighting signatures and a clean, contemporary exterior aesthetic.

The Ora 5 retains the brand’s familiar 'cat family' design language but adopts a more SUV-focused stance. In terms of dimensions, it measures 4,471 mm in length, 1,833/1,844 mm in width, and 1,641 mm in height, with a 2,720 mm wheelbase, making it notably larger than the Ora 3.

Inside, the Ora 5 comes equipped with GWM’s Coffee OS 3.0 AI-powered intelligent cockpit system, offering a connected and intuitive user experience.

Additional comfort and convenience features include a ventilated driver’s seat with six-way electric adjustment, multiple intelligent driving modes, and a five-level battery safety protection system.

GWM has also highlighted its multi-layer protective exterior coating technology, which is claimed to help reduce the appearance of minor scratches when exposed to sunlight, helping maintain the vehicle’s finish over time.

As Nepal’s electric vehicle market continues to expand, the Ora 5 is expected to add another competitive option in the segment, combining range, safety, and smart technology.

The company is expected to announce further details, including pricing and official availability, closer to the launch date.
